Information Technology Program Manager

We are seeking an IT Program Manager to support the program by managing enterprise project schedules, coordinating delivery activities, facilitating Kanban operations, and supporting program governance. This role will work closely with program leadership, project managers, and technical teams to ensure visibility into project progress, risks, milestones, and delivery outcomes.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and administer the Master Project and Program Schedule

Prepare for and facilitate daily Kanban meetings using Microsoft Project Planner Boards

Support project managers and the Common Services Delivery team with project coordination activities

Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery commitments

Prepare status reports, dashboards, presentations, and leadership briefings

Coordinate meetings, document action items, and follow up on outstanding tasks

Support project governance, documentation, and compliance with organizational standards

Assist with onboarding, suitability, and administrative activities related to program delivery

Facilitate communication between technical teams, stakeholders, and program leadership

Support change management, issue management, and project reporting processes

Required Skills

12+ years of IT experience

7-10 years of experience leading and managing IT projects focused on infrastructure, operations, or service delivery

Bachelor's degree in Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Experience developing and managing project and program master schedules

Experience facilitating Kanban processes and coordinating technical delivery teams

PMP certification or equivalent project management certification

Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies

Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management, resource planning, and scheduling

Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests

Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills

Experience producing governance-focused reporting and executive-level status updates

Preferred Skills

Experience supporting Federal civilian agency programs

Experience managing enterprise infrastructure modernization initiatives

Experience driving service delivery improvements in complex IT environments

Familiarity with federal governance, reporting, and oversight frameworks

Experience working across program, project, and technical delivery teams
