Senior Software Engineer – ADP (Lifion Team)
Senior Software Engineer to build microservice features for ADP’s Human Capital Management platform. Work with a team of engineers in sprint-based development, writing code, automated tests, and ensuring timely delivery of products.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with a team of software engineers to design and implement microservices for Lifion.
Write production‑ready code, create automated test cases, and maintain code quality.
Participate in daily stand‑ups to align on priorities and troubleshoot issues.
Work in three‑week sprints, meeting deadlines and adhering to coding standards.
Use technologies such as Node.js, Java, Redis, ElasticSearch, Kafka, relational databases, AmazonDynamoDB, AmazonKinesis, AmazonSQS, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
Solve complex problems related to fault tolerance, scalability, reliability, and performance.
Continuously learn new technologies and processes through training, conferences, and self‑study.
Collaborate with cross‑regional teams and stakeholders, including leadership, to review initiatives.
Provide peer mentorship and knowledge sharing to improve team capabilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
5–8 years of software development experience in a similar role.
Must have experience with Node.js and/or Java.
Experience developing software for clients at scale and driving projects from concept to delivery.
Strong problem‑solving, teaching, and creative thinking skills.
