Whether it's dialysis, physical therapy, or follow-up care, our clients rely on our drivers to show up with professionalism and compassion.We are looking for dependable, respectful individuals who are ready to serve their community by ensuring our passengers arrive safely and on time.Who We're Looking ForWe're seeking individuals who:Are available weekdays during daytime hoursHave excellent time management and people skillsCan physically assist passengers with mobility needsAre comfortable using smartphones for dispatch and navigationRepresent our company with professionalism and empathyA Day in the Life of a Dream Care Rides DriverStart your shift by reviewing your schedule on our mobile appPerform a quick inspection of your assigned company vehicleAssist a rider from their home into the vehicle, securing any mobility devicesCommunicate with dispatch for next-trip instructionsMaintain professionalism and safety throughout the tripEnd your day knowing you helped someone access essential careWork DetailsMonday through Friday schedulingMost trips occur between 5:30 AM and 5:00 PMNo night, weekend, or overnight shiftsScheduling is based on trip volume and availabilityOpportunities for growth as service demand increasesKey ResponsibilitiesSafely transport clients to and from medical appointmentsProvide door-to-door or door-through-door support as neededSecure wheelchairs and mobility aids properlyKeep company vehicles clean and compliant with safety standardsUse a mobile app for scheduling and navigationCommunicate professionally with dispatch and ridersRequirementsValid Drivers License (Illinois or surrounding state)Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)Completion of DOT physicalPass background check and drug screeningAbility to assist passengers with mobility limitationsExperience working with elderly or medically vulnerable individuals is a plusBasic smartphone and GPS navigation skillsRequired CertificationsAll drivers must complete the following certifications before assignment:PASS Basic (CTAA)Securement 101 (Wheelchair Safety Training)CPR & First Aid with AEDDefensive Driving (4-Hour Course)HIPAA TrainingFraud, Waste, and Abuse Training (CMS)Reimbursement for certifications and medical screening costs is available after 90 days of active service, with valid receipts and proof of completion.What Makes a Great Dream Care Rides Driver?Punctual, professional, and well-presentedComfortable assisting passengers and securing equipmentMaintains a positive, calm attitudeCommunicates clearly and follows safety proceduresTreats every rider with dignity and patienceOr refer someone
