Senior Backend Engineer

Job Description

Clause, a contract-analysis platform for small businesses, seeks an experienced backend engineer to own the core extraction and evaluation pipeline. You will ensure robust handling of long contracts, edge cases, and real-world inputs, including fax-quality scans and pasted texts, while keeping latency and cost in check.

You will build in TypeScript, work with language-model integration in production, and shape evaluation metrics that determine product trustworthiness.
