Job Description

SAM Nutrition is looking for energetic professional to join our dynamic team. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Checking for damaged goods
  • Staying aware of possible hazards
  • Maintaining forklift and other equipment
  • Recording data about the products they are moving
  • Comply with SAM Nutrition's internal food safety policies, as well as Responsible Importer Guidelines.
  • Comply with Food Safety Plan set forth by state, federal, and 3rd party (HACCP, FAMI-QS, SF/SF etc.) guidelines.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of the warehouse
  • Performs special projects (Reworking/repalletizing 50 LB bags)
  • Obtain product knowledge on the material in the warehouse
  • Responsible for performing weekly inventory counts
  • Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.
  • Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
  • Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
  • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Comes with a great attitude and a willing team player

Forklift Operator Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience as Forklift Operator,
  • Attention to Detail
  • Familiarity with Industrial Equipment
  • Excellent Physical Condition
  • Ability to Lift 50lbs.
  • Valid Forklift Certification
  • Food/Feed Safety
  • Inventory Control
  • Reporting Skills
  • Analyzing Information
  • Equipment Maintenance
