Recruiter (Construction & Skilled Trades)

Location : Indianapolis, IN

Schedule : Monday-Friday | In-Office

Compensatio n: $65,000-$75,000 Base + Uncapped Commission

Position Summary

Kodiak Labor Solutions is looking for an experienced Recrui ter to join our growing Indianapolis team. If you have a background recruiting for the construction industry or skilled trades, this is an opportunity to build strong relationships, make a direct impact, and earn uncapped commission while supporting some of the nation's largest commercial and industrial construction projects.

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through onboarding

Recruit skilled trades and construction professionals, including electricians, plumbers, pipefitters, welders, HVAC technicians, superintendents, project managers, and safety professionals

Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, referrals, networking, and other recruiting tools

Screen, interview, and qualify candidates for client opportunities

Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and deliver top talent quickly

Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS and CRM

Build and maintain long‑term relationships with candidates and clients

Qualifications

2+ years of construction recruiting or skilled trades recruiting experience required.

Proven success recruiting for commercial, industrial, or manufacturing positions.

Strong sourcing and relationship-building skills.

Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and applicant tracking systems.

Ability to manage multiple openings in a fast‑paced environments
