Bostik is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to help keep our Louisville manufacturing facility operating safely and efficiently. In this hands-on role, you will troubleshoot equipment, complete preventive maintenance, perform repairs, and work with Production and Engineering to improve equipment reliability. What We Offer

What You'll Do

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical equipment

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance

Maintain pumps, motors, valves, gearboxes, conveyors, heaters, and chillers

Diagnose issues involving hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Install, align, and assist with the startup of new machinery

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings

Document maintenance activities in the maintenance management system

Partner with Production and Engineering to reduce downtime

Support equipment-reliability and continuous-improvement projects

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Equipment You May Work On

Industrial pumps and electric motors

Gearboxes and conveying systems

Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment

Valves and process piping

Process heaters and chillers

Manufacturing and facility-support systems

What You'll Bring

High school diploma or GED

Industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Basic electrical knowledge

Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Ability to read blueprints and equipment schematics

Experience safely using hand and power tools

Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and teamwork

Preferred Qualifications

Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience

Technical school training or an industrial maintenance certificate

Military maintenance experience

Experience with PLC troubleshooting, welding, millwright work, or industrial controls

Experience using a CMMS or EAM system

Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, or boom lifts
