Job Title: Mainframe CICS System AdministratorDuration: 12+ Month (Potential extension)Location: Phoenix, AZRequired Skills & Qualifications:Strong hands-on experience with Job Control Language (JCL)Deep understanding of Mainframe Operating Systems (z/OS)Proven experience in Mainframe Support and production operationsSolid background in Systems Programming within a mainframe environmentExperience with CICS system administration and supportKnowledge of TSO/ISPF utilities, datasets, and mainframe toolsFamiliarity with batch scheduling tools (e.g., CA-7, Control-M, or equivalent)Experience with system performance monitoring and tuningUnderstanding of mainframe security frameworks (RACF, ACF2, Top Secret)Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience with COBOL and CICS transaction processingKnowledge of DB2 for z/OS or IMS databasesExposure to mainframe modernization or cloud integration effortsExperience with automation and scripting in mainframe environmentsFamiliarity with Workload Manager (WLM) and capacity planning
