Sr. Software Engineer

Developer Platform/Product We are seeking a skilled Developer Platform/Product with a strong focus on Adobe AEM Development. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in software development, specifically in building and maintaining robust digital platforms. This role is a contract position and offers the flexibility of working from home while contributing to innovative projects that enhance our product offerings.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement solutions using Adobe AEM to meet business requirements.

Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Maintain and optimize existing AEM applications for performance and scalability.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in coding and design.

Debug and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner to ensure minimal disruption to services.

Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Adobe AEM and related fields.

Document development processes, code changes, and technical specifications.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong expertise in Adobe AEM Development, including AEM Sites, AEM Assets, and AEM Forms.

Proficient in Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Experience with AEM components, templates, and workflows.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating third party services.

Solid understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with front end frameworks such as React or Angular.

Knowledge of cloud services and deployment strategies.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Experience in performance tuning and optimization of AEM applications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5-7 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Adobe AEM.

Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
