Job TitleResponsibilities:OS Installation & Management: Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems, including the upgrade from RHEL different linux flavorsApplication Installation & Configuration: Deploy and configure various applications critical to our video operations.Database Installation & Support: Assist in the installation and ongoing maintenance of database systems.VM Management: Provision, configure, and manage virtual machines within the Nebula environment.Automation & Orchestration: Utilize Ansible playbooks to automate routine tasks, application deployments, and system configurations.Monitoring & Alerting: Implement and maintain robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues.Troubleshooting & Support: Provide timely and effective troubleshooting and support for system and application-related incidents.Security Hardening: Implement and maintain security best practices on all systems.Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to ensure optimal efficiency.Qualifications:5+ years of experience in system administration, with a strong focus on Linux environments (RHEL experience is essential, Rocky Linux experience is a plus).Hands-on experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux operating systems.Experience with virtualization technologies, preferably Nebula or other OpenStack-based platforms.Solid understanding of automation principles and experience with Ansible for configuration management and orchestration.Familiarity with database systems (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL) and basic database administration tasks.Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana).Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) are desirable.
