Job Description

Muchmore Consulting is seeking a friendly, dependable IT Support Technician to provide onsite and remote technology support to law firms throughout downtown Seattle and the surrounding area.

This position is for someone who enjoys helping people, is comfortable walking into professional offices, and can troubleshoot technology problems with confidence. You will often work independently at client locations while collaborating with our experienced consulting team whenever an issue requires additional expertise.

Strong technical skills are important, but this role is equally about people. Our clients include attorneys, legal professionals, and administrative staff with varying levels of technical experience. The right person will communicate clearly, remain patient under pressure, and treat every user with respect.

You will report to and work closely with a senior member of our technical team, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and advance over time.

About Muchmore Consulting

Muchmore Consulting provides technology support and consulting services to primarily law firms. We support the full range of technology our clients rely on, including computers, laptops, mobile devices, tablets, servers, networks, software, and cloud services.

Our clients are people, not just computers and systems. We believe effective technology support begins with trust and strong working relationships. We take the time to understand the people we support, how they work, security implications and what they need from their technology.

We structure our work so our technicians become familiar with each firm’s people, systems, and day-to-day workflows. We are looking for someone who can build those relationships, contribute to our established team, and grow with our company over the years.

Most client offices are located in or near downtown Seattle. You must be comfortable traveling between nearby offices and arriving promptly when onsite assistance is needed.

Team members are encouraged, but not required, to participate in our weekend on-call rotation, which may involve being on call for up to one weekend per month. On-call participants receive after-hours pay plus bonus.

Occasionally, scheduled projects, equipment deployments, or urgent situations may require assistance from the entire team outside regular business hours. This could include evenings, early mornings, or weekends.
