IT Technician Level ICompensation Range: $26.4/hr - $26.9/hr commensurate with experienceBenefits: We have three comprehensive healthcare plans to choose from based on your priorities and budget. This money is available for tuition loan reimbursement, tuition costs, and textbooks.Overview: The IT Technician Level I must be knowledgeable in software, hardware, networking, and other technical aspects. Acts as a liaison between Housing Works, Xerox and Comserv/BCMone (the outsourced IT companies), and other vendors regarding technology and infrastructure. Provide on-site support for end users to improve business productivity.Responsibilities:Working with the rest of the IT Department to complete projects including but not limited to: Hardware upgrades and replacementsWindows refreshesAsset collection and inventoryingCable management and cleanup for server rooms and at end user desksActing as an escalation point for matters where our managed server provider requires hands-on or local support for troubleshootingMaintaining IT compliance by auditing users for Secure Print capabilitiesPreparing devices for deployment through a combination of SCCM, Intune, and other MDM software.Working with the rest of the team to ensure devices are assigned and tracked properlyMaintaining e-waste inventory and ensuring it is disposed of properly.Maintaining server rooms at all locations and making sure they are clean and receiving proper ventilationMaintaining and updating technical documentation as we make changes to the environment and ensuring that users can refer to these for their benefit.Providing technical support or training to users.Requirements:Bachelor's in computer science or related field.Professional IT Certifications may be considered in lieu of a degreeHousing Works fights for funding and legislation to ensure that all people living with HIV/AIDS have access to quality housing, healthcare, HIV prevention, and treatment, among other lifesaving services.Housing Works provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
