The role

We are looking for a senior engineer who can own the design and implementation of the controller component of our network automation platform.

What you’ll do

Own the end-to-end backend architecture, from data models to APIs and internal services

Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant backend services

Implement and maintain:

REST APIs (Node.js)

gRPC APIs (Golang)

Collaborate closely with:

Network engineers

Product and leadership teams

Review code, set engineering best practices, and mentor other engineers as the team grows

Take ownership of performance, reliability, and security of the controller

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of backend engineering experience, with at least 2–3 years in a senior role

Strong experience with Node.js and Golang in production systems

Hands-on experience designing and operating distributed systems

Experience creating backends serving a large number of online requests.

Solid experience of working with:

MariaDB / MySQL

MongoDB

Redis

gRPC

CI/CD

Linux

Containerized applications

Ability to turn high-level requirements into clear technical designs and implementations
