Job Description

This is WITRON

We are seeking a driven and hands‑on Construction Manager to oversee the installation of electrical and mechanical systems for our Automated Material Handling Systems across project sites throughout the United States. This role is critical to ensuring all installation activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project schedules, quality standards, and technical requirements.

Starting Salary: $75k plus based on experience, in addition to per diem and salary allowance

This role requires frequent travel up to 90% to project sites in the United States

Key Responsibilities Oversee subcontractors during the installation and adjustment of electronic systems

Plan and coordinate construction activities, including schedules, timelines, and key milestones, in collaboration with subcontractors and the GC Construction Manager

Identify, communicate, and resolve project issues related to schedule, safety, layout, and execution alongside Project Managers and technical teams

Track project progress against schedules and contractual deadlines; address and elevate delays or risks as needed

Lead site meetings, document discussions, and maintain accurate construction logs

Prepare, maintain, and update installation and construction documentationPerform quality assurance checks and approve completed electrical and mechanical work areas

Ensure all subcontractors understand and follow site standards, safety protocols, and code of conduct

Conduct ongoing safety checks to maintain compliance across all work areas

Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, or construction-related roles

Associate degree in Industrial Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field is a plus

Experience with material handling systems in distribution or light industrial environments is advantageous

Prior construction site experience preferred

Skills & Knowledge Strong electrical knowledge, including 3-phase systems, 480V, DC systems, and 24V controls

Solid mechanical aptitude, with familiarity in motors, gears, and drive systems

Understanding of control systems such as PLCs and inverters

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation

Skilled in electrical testing and measurement techniques

Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

German language skills are a plus but not required

Travel Requirements Initial training includes several weeks at WITRON Headquarters in Parkstein, Germany.

Frequent travel to project sites across the U.S. and Canada.
