Mainframe DeveloperLocation: Miami, FL (Remote) Duration: 06 Months plus Rate: DOE US Citizens, Green cards & EAd Are preferred. No Third-party C2C Must-have skills: IDMS, COBOL and Batch Coding (ADSO, IDD, ADSC, MAPC, DDDL, DMLO, OLP, PFCH, DME), VSAM; JCL; Z/OS mainframe environment, SQL, SAS, VegaSoft, VSAM, SPF, TSO/ISPFRequirements:Programming experience in an IDMS/COBOL/VSAM/JCL/Z/OS mainframe environment (5+ years);Experience in systems analysis, development and project implementation (5+ years);Experience in IDMS programming language, online IDMS programs and transactions, IDMS COBOL online and Batch coding (ADSO, IDD, ADSC, MAPC, DDDL, DMLO, OLP, PFCH, DME);Experience with Job control language (JCL);Experience with SQL;Experience with SAS, VegaSoft, SPF, and TSO/ISPF in the Z/OS mainframe environment;Experience with IDMS screen mapping (symbolic and physical);Experience in application production support and IT customer service.Responsibilities:Provide technical and system support for the Code Enforcement Section;Provide technical support to the existing Legacy Code Enforcement system (COBOL/IDMS), and its multiple integrations with other County systems, including XML integrations using Vegasoft;Provide technical support to the system's substantial batch reporting functionality;Provide technical support to Ad hoc processes required to satisfy complex reporting requirements;Develop documentation and track system changes;Work with business analysts and end-users to test and implement new reporting requirements and integrations with external system.
