Software Developer: IV (Lead)

Title : Specialized Software Developer: IV (Lead)-

Location: Onsite (Dallas/Boston) or US Remote

Duration: 12+ months contract

Follows company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs. Assists in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents. Reviews functional requirements, analysis and design documents and provides feedback. Collaborates with other development staff to achieve quality and consistency. Participates in architecture, design and code reviews. . Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation. Requires demonstrated subject matter expertise of the specified software application.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain data-driven applications and services that integrate with banking systems

Design and develop front-end user interfaces (dashboards, workflows, reporting views)

Evaluates, directs and supports Web Application Server system enhancements and performs quality assurance functions

Build backend services and APIs for data integration and processing

Develop data pipelines to ingest and harmonize data from multiple sources

Implement workflow automation and role-based access controls

Programs in operating systems and programming languages- Python, R, Java , Scala

Build data pipelines and maintain automation frameworks to streamline operational workflows and reduce manual intervention.

Leverage SQL to build data models, optimize queries, and manage structured data in relational databases and AWS cloud platforms (Snowflake experience preferred)

Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

Ensure security, performance, and regulatory compliance of applications within a banking context.

Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) while providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to other team members.

Good knowledge of data governance & data management platforms (Informatica is a plus).

Provides highest degree of technical engineering and support to the team.

Core Requirements:

• 14-18 years of experience Strong command of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, Snowflake)

Front end frameworks(React/Angular)

Knowledge of automation frameworks such as Power Automate, Python scripting, or equivalent

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) including services such as Lambda, S3, Azure Functions, or BigQuery

API development (RESTful services)

Proficient in Python or R for data analysis and model development
