-Full Stack Engineer ( eXtreme Programming /XP) / Dearborn, MI, 12 Months Contract

Full-Stack Software Engineering ProfessionalWe are seeking an experienced full-stack software engineering professional familiar with Lean, Agile, and eXtreme Programming (XP) practices. Collaborating closely and continuously with fellow engineers, designers and product owners, you will help build, validate and release innovative software products early and often.You will:Validate and release applications using continuous integration and continuous delivery toolsWork in collaborative environment including pairing and mobbing with other cross-functional engineersWork on a small agile team to deliver working, tested softwareWork effectively with product owners, product designers and other technical expertsTake time to continuously learn and share with peersDemonstrate technical knowledge/leadership skills and advocate for technical excellenceDeveloping exceptional user experiences with backend APIs using frameworks such as Spring BootOur preferred qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fieldProficiency with test-driven development (TDD) and strong understanding of clean code conceptsPair programming experienceIn-depth software engineering knowledgeExpertise in eXtreme Programming (XP) disciplines including:Paired programmingTest-first/test-driven development (TDD)Experience with Spring Cloud and deploying to cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform)Experience delivering products that include front-end web developmentProficiency with continuous integration/continuous delivery tools and pipelines (e.g., Terraform, Tekton, JFrog etc.)Proficiency with RESTful API standards/toolsThe minimum qualifications we seek:High School Diploma or GED5+ years of professional software engineering experience3+ years of professional development experience with:Spring ANDJava or similar Object-Oriented languagesHave used continuous integration/continuous delivery tools and pipelines (e.g., Terraform, Tekton, JFrog etc.)Iterative development experience
