Software DeveloperLocation: Lexington, MADuration: 3 years contractThis is an onsite jobResponsibilities Include But Not Limited To:Develops application softwareWrites and implements efficient codeResearches, designs, develops and implements software applications and systemsInvolved in system development and deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standardsEvaluates, designs and implements interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, cloud offering, system architecture, security and characteristics of overall systemResearch, design, implement and manage software programsIdentify areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modificationsDetermine operational practicalityDocuments testing, client experience and maintenance of system correctionsMay partner and collaborate with cyber security teams to ensure compliance with security standardsMay develop and conduct unit testsMust Have Qualifications:Experience leading clean-sheet architecture and development of complex systems software from high-level requirementsExperience in developing REST web services in Python and/or C++Experience with programming user applications on Linux and WindowsFamiliar with simple image processing techniquesMotivated and capable of working with little management directionStrong communications skills and ability to report results effectivelyPreferred Qualifications:Familiarity with control theory, astrodynamics, image processing and/or detection theoryExperience with agile software engineering methodology, such as scrumKnowledge of MATLABExperience with containerization technology, such as dockerEEO EmployerLanceSoft is a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and an equal opportunity employer.
