Job Description

The Warehouse Technician is responsible for maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse that supports our HVAC, mechanical, and service operations. This role ensures technicians have the parts, tools, equipment, and materials needed to safely and effectively serve customers.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Inventory

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and organized storage locations.
  • Pull, stage, and prepare materials for technicians and project teams.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs.
  • Process returns, warranty items, and damaged materials.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
  • Prepare daily parts, tools, and equipment for field technicians.
  • Assist with locating and tracking materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Manage tool and equipment check-in/check-out processes.
  • Support urgent and emergency material requests as needed.
  • Verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Coordinate with vendors regarding deliveries, returns, and backorders.
  • Assist with warranty claims and vendor return documentation.
  • Communicate material availability with operations and service teams.

Safety

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment when authorized.
  • Maintain proper storage of materials and potentially hazardous products.
  • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or damaged equipment immediately.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Warehouse, inventory, HVAC, construction, mechanical, or related experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift materials.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work in warehouse, shop, and outdoor environments.
  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures and conditions.

Schedule: Monday-Friday with occasional after-hours support as needed
