Embedded Linux Engineer

Job Description

Embedded Linux EngineerInsight Global is seeking an experienced and secret cleared Embedded Linux Engineer to support the development, integration, and troubleshooting of Linux-based embedded systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Board Support Packages (BSPs), Linux kernel development, and/or Linux device drivers, along with a solid understanding of embedded hardware/software integration.Develop, integrate, customize, and maintain Embedded Linux software for complex embedded systems. Develop and modify Board Support Packages (BSPs) for new and existing hardware platforms. Configure, customize, debug, and optimize the Linux kernel for embedded applications. Develop, modify, and troubleshoot Linux device drivers for embedded hardware and peripherals. Support board bring-up, hardware/software integration, and system-level debugging. Analyze and resolve issues involving the operating system, kernel, drivers, boot process, and underlying hardware. Work closely with hardware, firmware, systems, and software engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle. Perform debugging and root-cause analysis using standard embedded Linux development and diagnostic tools. Participate in code reviews, software integration, testing, and documentation activities. Develop software in accordance with established engineering and configuration management processes.
