the client seeks an Executive Director passionate about supporting public education.

the role will lead efforts to advance the client’s mission by providing leadership across fundraising, operations, finance, programs, staff supervision, and board relations.
As a key ambassador, the Executive Director will build relationships with current and prospective donors and engage with key stakeholders to strengthen support for quality public education.
Key responsibilities include partnering with the board of directors and president on organizational strategy and governance, working with the program team to design new initiatives and enhance existing programs, and developing and executing fundraising strategies and campaigns.
This includes donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and closing major gifts, grants, sponsorships, and other donations either individually or in collaboration with other leaders.
The Executive Director will also review grant proposals, help develop grant budgets, and supervise communications and branding activities to raise visibility and create a positive donor experience.
The Executive Director will guide operational success and continuous improvement by identifying and implementing tools, processes, and policies that enhance efficiency and effectiveness, and by partnering with the president and the accounting function to support budgeting and financial operations.
The role also includes communicating clear goals to staff, ensuring progress tracking, and using data to inform recommendations. xsgimln
Candidates should be experienced nonprofit leaders with strong systems-thinking, fundraising, operational, and staff leadership skills, and should be able to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, professional growth, and ethical conduct.
