Production Supervisor (Night Shift)Join a leading manufacturing team as a Production Supervisor overseeing night shift operations (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Sunday night through Friday morning). In this role, you'll lead a team of production operators, drive daily production performance, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and develop a team of production operators in a union manufacturing environmentCoordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and output goalsMonitor performance metrics and implement process improvementsManage staffing, schedules, workflow, and equipment utilizationEnsure compliance with production standards and safety proceduresSupport Lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement effortsCollaborate with maintenance and cross-functional teams to maintain efficient operationsQualifications:2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience leading production teams and managing schedules/workflowStrong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointLean Manufacturing and 5S experience preferredExperience working with union employees is a plusEngineering education preferred but not requiredSchedule: Night Shift | 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM | Sunday night through Friday morningThis is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is passionate about safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
