Backend Software Engineer

Job Description

Lead technical work on a small, high-caliber engineering team and establish standards for engineering excellence. Build scalable backend systems and agentic systems using large language models and generative AI.

Requirements:

Requires 5–10 years of backend engineering experience, industry experience with TypeScript and AWS, and at least 12 months of experience designing and building agentic systems or working with LLMs and generative AI. A formal degree is required; candidates must be fluent in English and able to work on-site five days a week in San Francisco, with no visa sponsorship available.
