ServiceNow Solutions Architect

** W2 only - Not available for C2C or 1099 consulting ** ** 1-3 days onsite required at client office in Richardson ** Note to Applicants: Strong possibility of full-time conversion with Milestone's ServiceNow practice following the client engagement; additional info available upon discussion with Milestone Recruiter Position Overview This role sits within Global Digital & Technology and provides the architectural and process backbone for an ongoing M&A-related IT services transition. This is a separate project from other transition work on the account. It is an ongoing role for the account, starting with the current project. Key Responsibilities Discovery Ownership - Assess current-state IT process for the organization being transitioned, identifying gaps, risks, and inefficiencies Solution Architecture- Define sand document scalable ServiceNow architectures, ensuring alignment with client requirements, industry best practices, and ServiceNow’s platform capabilities. Client Advisory - Acts as the primary technical consultant to clients, advising on platform strategy, governance, integration approaches, and roadmap planning. Team Leadership - Provides technical leadership to project teams, including developers, business analysts, and administrators, ensuring consistent delivery quality. Stakeholder Engagement- Collaborates with business leaders, IT executives, and cross-functional teams to translate business goals into technical solutions. Quality & Compliance - Establishes architectural standards, design patterns, and guardrails to ensure secure, maintainable, and future-ready implementations. Experience & Qualifications 8+ years of experience across the ServiceNow platform. Proven experience in ServiceNow solution design and delivery, with proven experience leading multiple enterprise-level ServiceNow implementations. Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, including CSDM (Common Service Data Model), Flow Designer, Integrations (REST/SOAP), and Service Portal. Experience with IT workflows (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, Discovery, Asset, HRSD, etc.). ServiceNow Certifications Must have one of the following: CSA, CAD, CIS-Data Foundations CIS-ITSM required combined with at least one of the following CIS: ITOM, HAM, SAM, HRSD ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) highly preferred Consulting Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders. Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and client management capabilities. Ability to lead workshops, drive consensus, and deliver clear architectural documentation.
