Sr. Software Engineer

Senior Software EngineerInsight Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for our client, a Texas-based network of hospitals and residential treatment centers for patients with complex health needs. The Sr. Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain mission-critical applications and integrations that support clinical and administrative operations across facilities. This role blends hands-on full-stack development with architectural ownership, and you'll work across the stack from software design to cloud deployment and mobile delivery, with growing opportunities to shape how we apply AI to real clinical and operational workflows.Required Skills & Experience:5+ years of experience building enterprise applications using C#/.NET5+ years of experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and modern front-end frameworksExperience designing and shipping cross-platform mobile apps with.NET MAUI (or Xamarin.Forms)Experience with SQL and relational databasesStrong understanding of software architecture, REST APIs, and distributed system designPractical experience with Azure-hosted applications and cloud-native development practicesNice to Have Skills & Experience:Experience publishing mobile apps to app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play) and managing mobile device deployment/MDM considerationsExperience with Databricks or other big-data/lakehouse platformsFamiliarity with AI-assisted development tools and AI/LLM integration patternsExperience in healthcare IT or other regulated, compliance-driven industries (HIPAA)Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/OpenTofu, Bicep) and observability/monitoring toolingWhat You'll Do:Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C#/.NET and modern TypeScript/JavaScript front-end frameworksDesign and build cross-platform mobile applications using.NET MAUI, extending clinical and operational tools to phones and tablets used across facilitiesAssist with SQL-based data solutions that move and transform data across clinical, operational, and reporting systemsContribute to software architecture and API/service design discussions, evaluating trade-offs and ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and maintainable across web, desktop, and mobileBuild clean, maintainable, secure, and well-tested code following engineering best practicesDevelop and support applications hosted within Microsoft Azure, including Web Apps/App Services, Functions, background services, and related cloud-native servicesWork with SQL Server/relational databases, including query optimization and performance tuning; experience with Databricks or similar platforms is a plusSupport CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices using Azure DevOps, including build/release pipelines for MAUI mobile app distribution
