What You’ll Be Doing Own and lead the entire accounting function — AP, AR, GL, payroll, and cost accounting

Drive the month-end close and deliver clean, timely financials

Prepare and analyze financial statements (GAAP) and partner with leadership on insights

Oversee cash flow, forecasting, and budgeting support

Manage project/job costing and profitability tracking

Build and enhance processes, controls, and systems as the company continues to grow

Partner closely with operations on performance, margins, and decision-making

Lead and mentor a small, high-performing accounting team

Manage external relationships including auditors and tax advisors

What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

5+ years of progressive accounting experience

Proven experience leading and developing a team

Strong foundation in GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close

Background in a project-based or cost-driven environment (construction, real estate, manufacturing, engineering, or similar)

Experience with job costing, cost accounting, or revenue recognition

Comfortable being hands‑on while also leading

Systems‑savvy (ERP experience like Sage, NetSuite, or similar)

Someone who is sharp, proactive, and enjoys building/improving things
