DevSecOps Analyst

Job Description

DevSecOps AnalystRequired Skills & Experience: 2-4 years of DevSecOps, Application Security, DevOps, Cloud Security, or Security Operations experience. Experience administering GitHub Enterprise security capabilities. Experience implementing or supporting CI/CD pipelines. Experience managing vulnerability remediation programs, findings backlogs, and SLA-driven remediation processes. Knowledge of GitHub Advanced Security, Dependabot, CodeQL, secret scanning, and branch protection. Familiarity with container security and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scanning. Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash. Experience performing code checks / secure code reviews. Understanding of penetration testing fundamentals. Experience scanning for security threats across applications and platforms. Experience working closely with a DevSecOps Lead or Security Lead. Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise. Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, or Azure DevOps. Security Champions program participation/support experience. OWASP secure coding knowledge and developer training experience. Executive reporting and security metrics experience.Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a DevSecOps Analyst for top industry client. This candidate will serve as a hands-on administrator within a mature DevSecOps program, partnering closely with security and development teams to drive application security initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage vulnerability findings, support GitHub Enterprise security administration, maintain CI/CD security controls, and help ensure secure software delivery practices across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of cybersecurity, software development, and cloud technologies while influencing secure coding practices and supporting enterprise-wide security programs. This a 6 month contract to hire, hybrid role with expectations to be on site 2-3 days a week.
