Systems AdministratorDalcom Engineering is currently seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support a team focused on mission-critical research, development, systems engineering, and modernization efforts for the U.S. Army.Founded in 1998, Dalcom Engineering is a HUBZone-certified small business committed to providing engineering solutions to the Government and private sectors. Through specializations in computer programming/software development, engineering modeling, systems engineering, and combat systems analysis, Dalcom Engineering takes pride in building and empowering teams that continue to grow with us.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and support daily operational requirements of computer network systems, including workstations, file servers, and web servers.Install, configure, and upgrade hardware, software, network accounts, and security tools.Maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security measures such as firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.Design, update, and manage web pages and local system documentation.Monitor system configuration, performance, and security, ensuring compliance with organizational and industry standards.Train staff on relevant software and provide technical assistance to users.Assist with the development and enforcement of IT policies, procedures, and best practices.Ensure compliance with Cyber WorkForce (CWF) directives and maintain required certifications as applicable.Qualifications / Desired SkillsBachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems. (Advanced degree preferred)3+ years of professional experience in systems administrationActive Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Security Clearance.Demonstrated leadership in managing large, multi-year programs or projects.Experience with DoD standards, compliance, and modular open systems approaches is highly desirable.Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple technical priorities.If you're driven by intellectually stimulating work, enjoy collaborating with talented peers, and thrive in a high-performing environment, then Dalcom may be for you!As a HUBZone-certified Small Business, Dalcom is committed to creating employment opportunities for individuals who live in historically underutilized business zones.
