Sales Representative

Overview Join to apply for the Sales Representative role at Northern Tool + Equipment .

As a Part-Time Sales Representative you will greet and assist customers, maintain a neat and stocked merchandise area, keep the sales floor organized and clean, promote the Northern Tool credit card program, and support the management team with day-to-day store merchandise and operations directions. Our mission is to serve tradespeople and weekend warriors with the right tools and a hassle-free experience in our stores.

Responsibilities Create a one-stop shopping experience with exceptional customer service; ask probing questions to better understand the customer’s needs.

Greet customers throughout the store, assist with product selection, merchandising aisles and endcaps, and position merchandise appropriately.

Offer Protection Plans on eligible products and promote our credit card on customer transactions (incentive pay for selling protection plans and credit cards).

Be a team player by assisting with tasks that improve the way the team serves customers.

What you will bring to the table Prior retail sales, cashier or customer service experience is admired, but not required.

Flexible availability and willingness to work some weekends and holidays as needed.

A love of tools & equipment.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to lift 70 lbs.

Service-focused mindset.

Benefits Competitive Pay: Earn $12.40 - $18.27 hourly, with exact compensation based on skills, experience, and location.
