This position applies software engineering principles and SAFe Agile methodologies to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The engineer works within cross-functional teams to implement features that meet technical, functional, and security requirements throughout the software lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Develop software features according to user stories and acceptance criteriaWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented codeImplement automated unit and integration tests (80% coverage minimum)Participate in code reviews and pair programmingSupport DevSecOps pipeline implementation and maintenanceDevelop microservices using containerization technologiesIntegrate with Government platform services and APIsParticipate in all team-level SAFe ceremoniesSupport troubleshooting and production issue resolutionContribute to technical documentation and knowledge transferRequired Qualifications:Minimum 7 years of software development experienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent substitution)Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, Go, JavaScript/TypeScriptExperience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesExperience with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testingFamiliarity with Git version control and collaborative developmentUnderstanding of RESTful API design and implementationExperience with Linux/Unix environmentsActive TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI PolygraphMust be U.S. citizenMust be located in NCR or San Antonio areaThe salary associated with this position ($64,000-$128,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
