Warehouse Associate – 2nd ShiftThe Warehouse Associate – 2nd Shift plays a key role in the accurate receiving, storing, organizing, and distribution of materials and products within a busy warehouse environment. Working under established guidelines and direct supervision, this role focuses on interpreting warehouse documents, preparing merchandise for distribution, and assembling customer orders to ensure timely and precise shipping.ResponsibilitiesGenerate manifests for dispatch and confirm customer and stock orders using the warehouse computer system.Interpret various warehouse documents to determine which items need to be moved, gathered, or distributed.Open cartons, sort merchandise, and relocate items from receiving or production areas to designated storage locations.Verify merchandise documentation and accurately record incoming merchandise by part number and quantity.Organize and place merchandise on racks, shelves, totes, or bins according to a pre-determined sequence and layout.Prepare products for distribution within the facility, ensuring items are properly staged for further processing or shipment.Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets, shelves, or conveyors for transfer to packing or shipping departments.Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products in accordance with established warehouse guidelines and procedures.Arrange stock parts in specified sequences to support assembly work performed by other team members.Create and enter accurate records for manifests in the warehouse computer system to maintain up-to-date inventory and shipping information.Follow all safety procedures while working around forklifts, hand carts, and other material-handling equipment in narrow aisles.Maintain a clean, organized work area and comply with all warehouse rules, including restrictions on personal electronics.Job Type & LocationThis is a contract to hire position based out of Lewisville, TX.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
