Forklift OperatorNow hiring for a Forklift Operator in Fife, WA. Pay rate is $21.50 per hour. Schedule is Monday-Friday, with some weekend work during peak periods. Start times vary and begin at 7:00 PM or later. If your skills and experience are a good match for this role, please apply today.This opportunity is based on a Forklift Operator career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.Education Requirements:High school diploma or GED preferred.Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.Experience Requirements:Minimum 1 year of sit-down forklift experience.At least 6 months of warehouse experience.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform multiple warehouse duties.Must be able to pass a written forklift exam and forklift driving test.Job Duties:Operate a sit-down forklift to move and stack Gaylords and mail throughout the warehouse.Load and unload trucks for delivery.Inspect shipments before loading and unloading.Assist with manual material handling and unloading products by hand as needed.Sort and process mail.Perform general warehouse duties as assigned.Follow all safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.Communicate effectively with leads and team members.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred.Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial.Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Forklift Operator.Physical Capabilities:Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.Benefits:Competitive weekly pay.Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.Life Insurance and Disability Insurance for added peace of mind.Optional 401(k) Plan to help you prepare for the future.Safety-focused warehouse environment with opportunities for advancement and continued equipment training.About Us:At Staffmark, we connect hardworking people with great companies, creating opportunities that make a lasting impact.
