Service TechnicianPOSITION TITLE: General Maintenance TechnicianSUMMARY OF ROLE: Service, maintain and repair all Big Y property within a supermarket or C-store including carpentry, drywall and basic plumbing. This role performs general maintenance, preventive maintenance programs, and makes recommendations for equipment upgrades.REQUIREMENTS:Must have 1-3 years of facilities maintenance experienceAbility to learn and perform multiple tasks as assigned.Ability to represent and support Big Y's Mission & Vision.Supports Big Y's commitment to Culture & Belonging.Willingness to learn and perform other tasks as assigned.Must project a clean and professional appearance.Ability to travel to Big Y locations and to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings when needed.Must be a team player with a positive attitude and businesslike conduct.Ability to operate within Company policies, procedures, and standards.Ability to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the service needs of the stores.Attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.Ability to learn and utilize computer applications.Must be 21 years of age.Must consent to and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background investigation.Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.Job Type: Full-timePay Details $35.10 - 52.65 Pay Rate Type HourlyBig Y2145 ROOSEVELT AVENUE (FACILITIES MGT) SPRINGFIELD, MA 01104
