Job Title: Construction Inspector
Location: Hicksville, NY
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Inspector to support bridge painting and railroad construction projects. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant experience in bridge painting, construction inspection, and project management, with significant experience supporting railroad projects and steel painting inspection.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of relevant experience in bridge painting, construction inspection, and/or project management.
Significant experience with railroad construction projects.
Strong experience with steel painting inspection and bridge coatings.
Must have AMPP CIP Level II/BCI II certification.
Ability to review construction drawings, specifications, work plans, quality control reports, and contract documentation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
Ability to work safely around railroad tracks and active construction environments.
