Job Description

Operations Analyst SrMissile and Fire Control is seeking an Operations Analyst Sr to support the Industrial Engineering Center of Excellence. This position sets and deploys the engineering basis for how production work is defined, timed, scheduled, and measured across the MFC manufacturing network. The selected candidate will:Develop and maintain engineered labor standards and routings, and defend the basis of those standards to program, finance, and operations leadershipAnalyze production spans, queue, and work in process to identify non value added time and quantify recoverable hoursBuild capacity and rate readiness models supporting production rate increase decisionsTranslate standards and work center efficiency into scheduling parameters that drive realistic system lead timesPerform factory layout, flow, line balance, and takt analysis in support of throughput and footprint decisionsPartner with site industrial engineering, production control, quality, and finance to deploy common methods across multiple locationsConvert analysis into executive facing recommendations, stating assumptions and verification status of every figureCoach and develop site level industrial engineers on method, tooling, and analysis rigorWork supports a range of MFC operations including machining, energetics, electronics integration, and test.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or related technical discipline from an accredited institution3 years of professional experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or operations analysisExperience developing and maintaining labor standards and manufacturing routings in a production environmentWorking knowledge of ERP production data structures: work centers, routings, operations, lead time, capacity, order executionExperience performing capacity, line balance, or throughput analysis on live productionDemonstrated experience working directly on a factory floor with production, planning, and qualityAdvanced Excel and demonstrated ability to analyze large production data setsDesired SkillsDirect SAP PP experience: routings, work centers, capacity planning, order execution, scheduling parametersFamiliarity with MIL-STD-1567A and the Type 1 and Type 2 engineered standard distinctionPredetermined time system experience such as MOST or MODAPTS, and time study or work sampling experienceDiscrete event simulation experience such as FlexSim, Simio, ProModel, or AnyLogicData tooling beyond Excel: Power BI, SQL, Python, or equivalentMES experience, Apriso preferredExperience deploying a standard method across multiple sites, not a single plantFamiliarity with EVMS concepts, earned value, and EAC development on a labor hour basisLean, Six Sigma, or kaizen event facilitation experiencePrior experience in aerospace, defense, or other regulated low rate high mix productionActive DoD security clearancePay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
