Project Manager (Mechanical)GavinHeath is partnering with a client in the Garland, TX area looking to add a Project Manager to their team. The role is a Direct Hire position. Responsibilities include:Responsible for the overall planning, execution, and successful delivery of commercial and industrial construction projects, specifically overseeing our mechanical/structural scopes of work.Oversees all phases of a project, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, resource allocation, subcontractor management, client relations, and project closeout activities.Accountable for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and contractual requirements.Serves as the primary liaison between field operations, company leadership, and customers, ensuring successful project outcomes and customer satisfaction.Oversee large scale commercial & industrial construction projects from set up to close out related to the data center, power generation, renewables, mining, and oil & gas construction industries.Responsible for recruiting, managing and leading teams of employees, including Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Project Coordinators.Supervises the daily work of employees.Verifies conformance of finished work product, including overseeing compliance with all contract requirements.Responsible for ensuring all safety and environmental requirements are met.Coordination of all labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources with Project subordinates to ensure timely, cost-effective completion of project.Assures all employees within the team know and follow the company safety and work rules and policies.Qualifications include:Engineering or Construction Management Degree preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience managing industrial or commercial construction projects.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Mechanical field.Strong leadership, effective communication, financial managementAbility to proactively identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining positive relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and project teams.Preferred:Experience with HCSS Heavy Job or similar job costing program.Experience with P6 or similar scheduling software.Experience with Viewpoint or similar account software.Experience with Heavy Bid or similar estimating software.Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.Completion of OSHA or equivalent safety training.Ability to travel.Driver's license with a clean driving record.GavinHeath is an equal opportunity employer.
