Job Description Job Description Job Title: Electrical Engineer Location: Maple Grove, Minnesota Type: Contract Compensation: $70.00 - $72.00 hourly Contractor Work Model: Hybrid System One is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer on a 12 month contract position located in Maple Grove, MN. Electrical Engineer Responsibilities: Handles day-to-day maintenance and corrective work at substations.

Will lead for-like replacements and upgrades of substation equipment (e.g., breakers, switches, transformers, relays, bushings, arresters).

Perform troubleshooting, initiate projects, order materials, develop/adjust designs as needed (brownfield- no greenfield design).

Coordinate with construction to execute, manage schedules, and ensure communications to all stakeholders (construction, substation maintenance team, etc.)

Deliverables include scoped work packages, materials requisition, field coordination, and completion of replacement/maintenance activities.

Electrical Engineer Requirements: BS degree in Electrical Engineering

Substation equipment knowledge and field troubleshooting experience or strong willingness to be in the field.

Familiarity with brownfield replacement/maintenance workflows.

Stakeholder coordination and project initiation/materials ordering.

Software: SAP, ProjectWise, and basic PLC/logic programming a plus.
