The Finance Clerk is a vital member of the Accounting team, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the daily operations of the department. This role assists the Finance Operations Director and Assistant Director of Finance by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of accounting functions.

Position Responsibilities / Essential Functions

Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable

Assist with invoice creation, distribution, and follow-up

Prepare and maintain financial documents and spreadsheets

Perform data entry and organize financial records

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries

Provide general administrative support to the Finance team as needed

The hourly rate range for this position ranges from $29.95/hour to $30.55/hour. The starting rate for this position is $29.95/hour. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who have remained in this position with Hyatt for four years or more, which is currently offered at $30.55/hour.

Qualifications

Prior accounting or finance experience preferred
