Senior Embedded Digital Software Engineer

Software EngineerQualcomm Technologies, Inc.This individual independently plans, performs the moderately-defined responsibility for developing, creating, and modifying general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyzes product requirements and develops software solutions. Confers with systems and software architects, engineers, programmers to design software and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Designs software or customizes software for with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Modifies existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve performance. Designs, develops, and modifies software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design. Acts as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings.Will accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field and one (1) year of experience in a related occupation.Pay Range: $115,347.00 - $166,900.00/yearApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
