SSIS Lead DeveloperSouthlake, TX (3 Day work from office)Summary (Key skills) - SSIS, SQL Server, ETL and DQ along with good communication skills and good analysis and documentation skills.In this role you will:Provide technical and project leadership to data pipeline development.Hands-on development and mentoring junior team members to ensure team and project success.Drive outcomes and team performance and collaborate with all to achieve results.Work closely with development, product owner and team members to decompose stories, design features, and prioritize tasks.Effectively navigate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment between teams and within one team.Collaborate with other shared functions to support application support and automation for deployments.Interface with product owner and key stakeholders in Project Management, Business, Development, QA and Technology Operations to ensure high quality delivery of software projects on time.Identify technology risks and dependencies early to establish mitigation plans.Create and maintain artifacts for production support and deployment processes and ensure smooth hand off to support teams.Meet periodically with onshore and offshore developers and application support to review and improve processes.What you haveRequiredExpertise in ETL development, MS SQL Server database, TSQL/Stored Procedure, SSIS and SSRSExceptional track record in delivering results and business outcomesExperience in maturing teams at different levelsMasters or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or similar/equivalent area of studyMinimum of 3 years working in the financial services industry.Minimum of 12 years of solid data engineering experience.Minimum of 5 years project lead experience in matrixed organizationSolid grasp of data warehousing and Operational Data principles and ETL best practices.Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and coach developers.Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.Willingness to learn new skills and keep up with technology changes in future to meet business needs.Prior experience working in an onshore offshore model driving development outcomes.PreferredExperience with Trading and data platforms supporting financial services use casesGood understanding of latest Architecture and Development Standards and GuidelinesExperience providing guidance, direction, and feedback to other technical staff to meet agreed upon objectives.Ability to analyze, propose and implement timely, effective, quality solutions for all issues or problems within area of responsibility.Excellent verbal and written communication skills required for composing and delivering technical presentations or other forms of documentation to various levels of technical and non-technical management.Proficient managing multiple priorities in a well-organized, dynamic, geographically dispersed environmentExperience in Python coding skillsExperience in dev tools such as GitHub, Bamboo, LiquibaseExperience with mapping data required for regulatory, non-regulatory data needsExperience and demonstrate proficiency in cloud-based technologies (GCP preferred).
