Security Analyst

Job Description

Identity Management Operations AnalystGenesis10 is currently seeking an Identity Management Operations Analyst for a hybrid position (minimum 3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX. This is an 11+ month contract opportunity.The Identity Management Operations Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day operational support, administration, and maintenance of the enterprise IBM Secrets Vault platform and its supporting Linux/Unix infrastructure. This role serves as a key member of the Identity Management Operations organization, ensuring the availability, stability, security, and resiliency of secrets management services. The position provides Level 2 operational support, including incident triage, problem management, and change implementation.Responsibilities:Provide Level 2 operational support for IBM Secrets Vault and support of Linux/Unix infrastructureMonitor platform health and respond to alerts, incidents, outages, and service degradationsPerform incident triage, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation of application, system, and infrastructure issuesExecute planned changes, upgrades, maintenance activities, and platform deploymentsSupport system patching, backup validation, disaster recovery, and technology currency initiativesMaintain operational runbooks, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Infrastructure Services, and Security teams to support platform enhancementsPerform access provisioning, de-provisioning, and administration activitiesIdentify opportunities for automation and process improvementsCoordinate and support annual Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery testing exercisesParticipate in major incident response activities and problem management reviewsManage work intake and operational requests through established ITSM processesEnsure operational compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirementsParticipate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation and follow-the-sun support modelRequirements:5+ years of Linux/Unix systems administration experience in a production environmentStrong Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration and troubleshooting experienceExperience supporting enterprise secrets management, privileged access, or credential management platformsStrong Shell scripting experience and demonstrated automation capabilities; Python experience preferredExperience with SSH, public/private key authentication, certificate management, and secure communications protocolsExperience troubleshooting distributed applications and infrastructure componentsFamiliarity with LDAP, Active Directory, and enterprise authentication conceptsExperience with load balancing technologies, web services, and application hosting environmentsWorking knowledge of relational database technologies and SQL queries for troubleshootingExperience supporting Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management processesExperience with ServiceNow, Remedy, or other enterprise ITSM platformsStrong analytical and root cause analysis skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environmentExcellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skillsStrong documentation skills, including SOPs and operational proceduresDesired skills:Direct experience administering or supporting IBM Secrets Vault in a production environmentExperience supporting Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions such as CyberArk or similar technologiesKnowledge of secrets lifecycle management, credential rotation, and privileged account governanceExperience with automation tools such as AnsibleFamiliarity with enterprise monitoring and observability platforms, including Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or similar technologiesExperience supporting high-availability and disaster recovery environmentsKnowledge of ITIL service management principles and operational best practicesExperience coordinating Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery testing activitiesPay range: $79.74 - $87.74 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
