Sr Software EngineerIn this role as a Sr Software Engineer you will be working with a strong blended business and technology team providing high quality end to end solutions that tackle sophisticated business problems.The Corporate Technology Group (CTG) is seeking a skilled Java Developer to play a vital role in developing the future-state of the SHARES product suite using ‘Agile’ practices. The SHARES application is the internal compensation application for shareholders allowing transparency into their holdings, and also provides administration capabilities for the business associates performing the related operations!Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent training and experience7+ years software development experience3+ years of Java EE development experience5+ years of Object Oriented development experience2+ years of Web UI development experience2+ years working in an Agile/Scrum/Lean environmentExperience working with ALM tools such as Rally, JIRA, Version One, or RTCStrong problem-solving skillsStrong SQL and Data Analytics skillsAbility to adapt to a constantly changing environmentAbility to quickly pick-up complex subject matterSelf-motivated and have the ability and desire to take initiativeWorking directly with both SHARES technical and co-located business partners to develop maintainable software solutions that supply to the overall productDeveloping in-depth knowledge of the product and business domainBuilding and maintaining strong working relationships with the internal team, business partner, Architecture, and external teamsActively participating in backlog grooming, planning sessions, daily scrums, retrospectives, and any other team eventsContribute to research, solution, and design sessions
