Overview

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER

LOCATION: PREMIER - FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT (SHAFTER, CA.)

SHIFT: DAY

REPORTS TO: CORPORATE CONTROLLER

About the Opportunity:

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager responsible for leading and developing a high-performing Accounts Payable team while ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant processing of invoices, payments, and vendor transactions across multiple business entities. This role oversees a team of 10+ AP professionals and serves as a key partner in driving process improvements, system implementations, and organizational change initiatives. What You Will Need:

5-10 years of progressive Accounts Payable experience

Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience managing teams

Experience managing Accounts Payable operations in a multi-company or multi-entity environment

Demonstrated experience supporting process automation, software upgrades and implementations, or major accounting transformation initiatives

Strong understanding of AP processes, internal controls, and accounting principles

Experience with high-volume transaction processing

Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office software, especially Excel

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills with attention to details; strong interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of individuals throughout operations and management

Ability to work well in a self-directed, fast-paced, changing environment with minimum supervision

Remote work not available for this position

Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets company policy, insurance, and DMV requirements.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.

Benefits

Total Rewards: $90,000 - $115,000/YEAR

Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
