Senior Software DeveloperLocation: WFH USA, New Jersey, MiddletownYears of Experience: 7-10 YearsJob Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with extensive experience in software architecture and development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and optimizing complex software features while ensuring scalability and maintainability. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to align development efforts with business objectives.Responsibilities:Architect, implement, and optimize complex software features.Integrate systems using APIs and automation tools.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of feature development with business goals.Conduct comprehensive code reviews focusing on design patterns, security, and performance.Participate in peer reviews of design documents, test plans, and user stories.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and shared ownership within the team.Encourage open dialogue to surface diverse perspectives.Review and work on defects and user stories.Participate in daily meetings and sprint planning sessions.Develop and customize catalog items, flows, client scripts, and script includes using Studio.Configure Automated Test Framework (ATF) for user stories.Perform unit testing of new stories and collaborate with QA for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Build REST integrations with external systems using ServiceNow Integration Hub.Handle authentication and troubleshoot production issues, including debugging scripts.Work with leads and architects to refine requirements.Mandatory Skills:Proven experience in software architecture and design.Strong proficiency in coding and code review practices.Experience with RESTful APIs and integration tools.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint planning.Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.Preferred Skills:Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF).Knowledge of various programming languages and frameworks.Experience in cloud-based solutions and services.Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.7-10 years of experience in software development and architecture.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
