Warehouse Supervisor

Jereh is seeking a hands‑on Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations at our Houston facility. This position is responsible for warehouse execution, inventory accuracy, material movement, shipping and receiving, warehouse safety, ERP/WMS transactions, and operation of large/heavy‑capacity forklifts and material‑handling equipment.

This is a working supervisor position, not a transportation or logistics-management role. The successful candidate will be comfortable directing daily warehouse activity while also working on the floor and in outdoor yard areas to receive, stage, move, store, protect, and account for industrial equipment, parts, tooling, and materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, unloading, put-away, picking, staging, kitting, packing, loading, and shipment preparation.
• Assign and coordinate daily warehouse priorities based on receiving, shipping, production, aftermarket, field service, and operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, monthly physical inventory, receiving verification, serial-number and part tracking, location control, and timely ERP/WMS transactions.
• Investigate and resolve inventory, quantity, location, receiving, purchase‑order, and system discrepancies.
• Participate in monthly inventory counts and support Finance and inventory audits as required.
• Operate large/heavy‑capacity forklifts, pallet jacks, and other approved material‑handling equipment.
• Load and off‑load trucks and safely move large, heavy, high‑value, or serialized industrial equipment and components.
• Maintain accurate system transactions for receiving, inventory movement, staging, transfers, material issue, and shipment activity.
• Inspect incoming equipment and materials for damage, moisture exposure, corrosion, packaging failure, or transportation‑related concerns.
• Maintain safe and organized warehouse, yard, staging, and storage areas, including housekeeping, access routes, equipment readiness, and proper material placement.
• Support warehouse material requirements for field service, aftermarket, production, procurement, and equipment operations.
• Protect equipment, electrical components, pumps, parts, tooling, and packaged systems from Houston‑area heat, humidity, rain, moisture, corrosion, and severe‑weather exposure.
• Support hurricane and severe‑weather preparation, including securing outdoor inventory and relocating weather‑sensitive materials when required.
• Reinforce company safety procedures and safe material‑handling practices across warehouse and yard operations.
• Support continuous improvement in inventory accuracy, warehouse layout, material flow, storage utilization, equipment handling, safety, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on warehouse, inventory control, shipping/receiving, material‑handling, industrial parts, or equipment‑support experience.
• Previous experience leading, supervising, or coordinating daily warehouse personnel and workflow.
• Hands‑on experience operating large or heavy‑capacity forklifts in an industrial warehouse, manufacturing facility, equipment yard, oilfield, or comparable heavy‑material environment.
• Experience with SAP, ERP, WMS, Oracle, JD Edwards/JDE, or a comparable inventory‑management system.
• Working knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, physical inventory, receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, material movement, and inventory reconciliation.
• Experience safely loading, unloading, staging, moving, and storing industrial materials or equipment.
• Experience with BOLs, packing lists, shipment records, receiving documentation, or similar warehouse documentation.
• Ability to identify and resolve inventory, receiving, quantity, and material discrepancies.
• Working knowledge of warehouse safety, material‑handling procedures, and equipment operation.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in warehouse, yard, and non‑climate‑controlled environments, including periods of Houston‑area heat and humidity.
• Strong organization, communication, attention to detail, and practical problem‑solving ability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Warehouse experience in oil and gas, oilfield services, hydraulic fracturing, power generation, industrial equipment, manufacturing, aftermarket service, or heavy equipment.
• Experience supporting gas turbine or power‑generation equipment, pumps, oilfield equipment, electrical components, tooling, aftermarket parts, or other high‑value industrial equipment.
• Experience managing or supporting serialized inventory, physical inventory programs, equipment loading, storage‑yard operations, or facility readiness.
• Experience with inventory accuracy metrics, warehouse KPIs, SOP development, 5S, Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous‑improvement practices.
• Experience with corrosion prevention, equipment preservation, moisture‑resistant packaging, or outdoor equipment storage.
• Current forklift certification or documented industrial forklift training.
• OSHA, HAZCOM, rigging, crane/material‑handling safety, First Aid/CPR, or related industrial safety training.
• Bilingual capability is a plus.

The position requires regular activity in warehouse and outdoor yard environments and includes forklift operation, truck loading/off‑loading, equipment movement, physical inventory activity, and supervision of daily warehouse workflow.

The Houston operation supports industrial and energy equipment where proper storage, preservation, inventory accountability, equipment handling, and safety are critical to supporting field, aftermarket, production, and customer requirements
