We're looking for a professional who can balance competing priorities, communicate effectively, maintain confidentiality, and provide friendly, efficient support to students, prospective students, families, and campus staff.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Education Administrative Assistant, you will serve as a welcoming front-office resource for the campus while providing administrative support to the Campus Director of Operations and Education (CDOE), Admissions, Educational Funding, and other campus personnel as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional, friendly, and courteous administrative support to the CDOE and campus personnel.
• Welcome prospective students, students, families, visitors, and other guests, ensuring visitors follow campus sign-in and identification procedures.
• Answer and direct calls using a multi-line telephone system and provide professional customer service.
• Follow established campus protocols, processes, and procedures.
• Prepare routine written correspondence and responses.
• Receive deliveries, post and distribute mail, and manage incoming and outgoing packages.
• Maintain postage supplies and coordinate routine mailing needs.
• Enter and receive orders and assist with ordering program, student, and front-office supplies.
• Maintain accurate electronic student files and scan/upload related documentation.
• Distribute student electronics and maintain appropriate documentation of equipment distribution.
• Run weekly attendance reports and notify the CDOE and program coordinator when students approach established absence thresholds.
• Follow up on attendance reports to support timely student outreach and withdrawal processes.
• Process authorized requests for student information and data, including education verifications from third parties, while maintaining confidentiality.
• Prepare reports, complete spreadsheet data entry, type documents, and organize information and records.
• Maintain required agency reports and other administrative documentation.
• Assist with campus projects and special assignments.
• Support orientation and graduation preparation, including diplomas, certificates, and related correspondence.

Required:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3-4 years of related administrative, office management, or reception experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet applications, and other common office technology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional telephone manner and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational, planning, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information and records.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities.
• Professional conduct, and integrity.

Preferred:

• Business school education, Associate degree, or equivalent experience.
