Hotel Maintenance Engineer

Westin Dallas Downtown Hotel Maintenance EngineerThe Westin Dallas Downtown Hotel Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining the hotel's physical plant and equipment. This includes performing routine maintenance and repairs, as well as responding to emergency situations. The Maintenance Engineer must be able to work independently and as part of a team and must be able to communicate effectively with hotel staff and guests.Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systemsRespond to emergency situations, such as power outages, floods, and fire alarmsPerform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure their longevity and efficiencyCoordinate with outside contractors and vendors as neededMaintain accurate records of maintenance and repairsEnsure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and hotel policiesAssist with other duties as assigned by the Chief EngineerRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of experience in hotel maintenance or a related fieldStrong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lift and carry heavy objectsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededWe offer a competitive wage, Health and Dental Insurance, company paid Life Insurance, Short Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance, Vision, Critical Illness, Accidental, 401(k) and company match, Paid Time Off (PTO), free hotel rooms and hotel discounts.*Free meal during shift
