About the Role

As an Assist Team Member, you’ll support the entire café by helping at the register, running food and drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting baristas and kitchen staff as needed. You’ll play a key role in keeping service running smoothly, especially during busy periods.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role with opportunities to learn multiple stations and grow within the company.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Greet guests and assist with taking orders at the register
• Operate the POS system accurately and efficiently
• Run food and beverages to guests
• Communicate clearly with baristas and kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy
• Buss tables and maintain clean dining, patio, and service areas
• Restock supplies throughout the café (cups, lids, utensils, milk, etc.)
• Assist with online order pickup flow
• Wash dishes
• Restock stations
• Support service flow during busy periods
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shop

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Previous customer service or POS experience preferred (not required)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Willingness to learn multiple stations

Pay

• $10/hour + tips
• Tips are pooled daily — average total hourly pay ranges $16-$18/hour
