Lead Software Engineer

Lead Software Engineer (Integration) Location Charlotte, NC 28203

Pay range $70-80/hr

Must Have: 10+ years experience in leading enterprise software implementation projects, preferably including LevelPath/Jaggaer implementations, with expertise in LevelPath APIs, workflow configuration, AI capabilities, and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) solutions.

Configure and support LevelPath/Jaggaer workflows, business processes, security roles, and data integrations to meet business needs.

Hands-on experience integrating LevelPath/Jaggaer with ERP, IronClad or similar integration platforms using: REST APIs, JSON, OAuth 2.0

Strong understanding of: API Gateways, Enterprise Integration Patterns, Message Queues, Event streaming (Kafka preferred)

Knowledge of API security and authentication mechanisms.

Preferred Skills: Experience with implementation of Sourcing applications like Coupa, iValua, GEP.

Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) / Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes, including Sourcing, Supplier onboarding, Supplier lifecycle management, Contract management

Experience with OIC or similar middleware, data mapping, ETL, file-based integrations (BICC/FBDI), and master data synchronization.

Proficiency in Java or Python, SQL, Git, CI/CD, and cloud-native application architecture, including secure API development and troubleshooting.

Software Skills Required: Integrating Levelpath and other enterprise cloud applications, REST API, event-driven, and file-based integrations using middleware technologies such as OIC or equivalent integration platforms. REST APIs, JSON, OAuth 2.0, Java, Python, SQL.

Day to Day Responsibility: Capable of leading system configurations, Workflows, technical design, collaborating with business stakeholders and implementation partners, and ensuring successful end-to-end delivery of the Levelpath/Jaggaer implementation while maintaining enterprise architecture, security, and operational standards.

Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations between Levelpath/Jaggaer and enterprise applications such as Fusion ERP, supplier systems, and other business platforms.

Build and support REST API, event-driven, and file-based integrations using middleware technologies such as OIC or equivalent integration platforms.

Develop and maintain integration services using Java, Python, SQL, and cloud-native technologies while adhering to enterprise architecture and security standards.

Support end-to-end testing, defect resolution, deployment activities, production support, and performance tuning for Levelpath integrations.

Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, and synchronization for procurement master data, suppliers, contracts, and transactional information.

Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions while following development best practices and CI/CD processes.

Monitor integration health, troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive improvements to enhance system reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet security, compliance, audit, and operational requirements while contributing to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
