Job Description

Overview

Steampunk is seeking a Software Developer to build the technical tools supporting AI governance and program reporting for a large federal advisory program, working with modern Agile and DevSecOps practices across the tool’s full lifecycle.

Design, develop, and deploy modular, cloud-based application components for program tools and dashboards

Build automated executive reporting and dashboard tooling supporting communications and program-management workstreams

Participate in code reviews and quality assurance activities; automate unit and functional testing

Apply Section 508/WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards to all developed tools

Document software code, features, and user/training guides

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate stakeholder needs into technical requirements
